Jean Lafitte Pirates RV Club travels to Kaplan

The Jean Lafitte Pirates RV Club traveled to Kaplan to spend a weekend of camping at D White House Campground.

Those Pirates enjoying the campout were Sonny and Hershal Abshire, C.S. and Laudry Darbonne, Lander and Mae Duhon, Royal and Debbie Hebert, Ethel Theriot, Sharon Vincent, and Bobbie Williams.

Becky Credeur was welcomed as a new member of the Pirates RV Club and is now part of the pirate’s mayhem.

Beware, Becky, those Pirates are rascals.

Wilbert and Ida Broussard visited on Friday.

Jerry Scalisi was a guest of the Pirates.

Ethel, Becky and Sharon prepared an awesome Mexican fiesta lunch for the Pirates on Friday. After feasting so heavily on tacos and burritos, those Pirates enjoyed a rerun of the same on Saturday for lunch but changed things up a bit by having dinner at Hebert’s Steak House. Good food seems to always be a part of a Pirate’s campout.

Mae livened things up on Saturday by having the Pirates search the Clubhouse for a small safety pin she had been using on her knitting. After some time of searching, someone noticed the pin still attached to her knitting and asked if Mae was teaching us to play “Search for the needle in the haystack”...Mae should know she can’t teach those Pirates anything.

The next campout for the Pirates will be in Judice at Doyce Lagneaux Campground.
