Kori Myers receives State 4-H Young Agent Award
Kori Myers, Jeff Davis Parish 4-H agent, recently received the Outstanding Young Agent Award at the Louisiana Association of Extension 4-H Agents Annual Meeting/Professional Improvement Conference held in Covington, La.
Myers was recognized by her peers from among 4-H agents that have 3 to 7 years of service. This award was based on excellence in program planning, execution and evaluation. She will also be recognized at the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents convention to be held in New York this fall.
Prior to her service in Jeff Davis parish, she has served in Allen, Franklin and Terrebonne parishes.
Myers is the daughter of Andrew and Brenda Myers of Jennings. She was a 4-H member in Jeff Davis parish for nine years.
In addition to receiving this prestigious award, Myers was elected to the office of President-elect of the association. She will ultimately serve as association president during the 2010-2011 term.
