Saints win Super Bowl.... on Madden NFL Game!
Game has picked five of last six winners
It’s about time the Saints had someone who thought they were the favorites in the Super Bowl.
Madden NFL, which correctly predicted five of the last six Super Bowl winners, picks the New Orleans Saints to beat the Indianapolis Colts 35-31.
The video game’s maker, Electronic Arts, runs a Super Bowl simulation each year. In the last six years, EA’s only miss was the New York Giants’ win against the New England Patriots. Madden NFL predicts that quarterback Drew Brees will win the
Most Valuable Player award by passing for 299 yards and three touchdowns. Reggie Bush will score twice, on a run and a punt return.
The Colts’ quarterback, Peyton Manning, will also throw for three touchdowns in a losing effort.
So those who put faith in the Madden NFL’s ability to pick the winner may leave now for New Orleans and get ready for the party.
Wonder if they can somehow simulate what Bourbon St. would be like after a victory in Miami on Sunday.
GEAUX SAINTS!
