TRAHAN
LEBLANC

LAKE ARTHUR--Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Trahan LeBlanc, 93, were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.
Burial was in Andrus Cove Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.
Mrs. LeBlanc died at 12:10 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008 at her daughter’s residence in Henderson, LA.

Clyde Adrien Ardoin, 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in a Jennings Veterans Home.
He was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh. He was a member of the VFW Post 3686 and served as a Commander for 3 terms. He was a member of the Thornwell Warehouse Association, American Rice Growers Association, and Jeff Davis Parish School Bus Association. He was retired from Jeff Davis School Board where he drove a school bus for 26 years. He was a farmer, cattleman, avid duck and goose hunter and he never met a stranger.

MARGARET ELAINE DOIRON VAN NESTE LEBLEU

JENNINGS: Funeral services for Margaret Elaine Doiron Van Neste LeBleu, 83, were held on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, La. with Father Charles McMillin officiating her services.
She was called to heaven Thursday, November 13th, 2008 from the Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Mrs. LeBleu was born in Thornwell, La. to Jedeon Leonce and Julia Speeg Doiron. She will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery following her services.

HEBERT

JENNINGS--Funeral services for Mabel Crader Hebert, 89, were held Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jennings with Father Anthony Fontenot officiating.
Mrs. Hebert died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 6:05 p.m. at The Hampton at Spring Shadows in Houston, Texas.
Interment was held in Andrus Cove Cemetery in Lake Arthur.

CAESAR CLYDE ‘C.C.’
BROUSSARD

LAKE ARTHUR: A memorial service for Caesar “C.C.” Clyde Broussard, 74, will be held Saturday July 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.
He died July 10, 2008, Thursday at 11:40 a.m. at his residence in Lake Arthur. He was the son of Clyde Henry and Edmae Benoit Broussard, born in Gueydan.
The interment will be in the Shell Beach Cemetery.

LAKE ARTHUR- Funeral services for Mr. Donald Reed “Case” Trahan, 75, were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.
Mr. Trahan died at 11:54 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 in St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles.
He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and a graduate of the Lake Arthur High School. He was a retired Lake Arthur bar owner for 44 years.
