FIRE BOARD MEETING
JUNE 1ST, 2010

The meeting was called to order by Kenneth Thibodeaux.

Present were Cory Feverjean, Gene Theriot, and Chad Thibodeaux.

Absent was Alcide Hargrave.

Motion was made by Gene Theriot, seconded by Cory Feverjean, to accept the minutes for the month of May and the Treasury Report of $203,487.62 as of April 30th, 2010.

The June 1st, 2010 meeting of the Broadmore Gravity Drainage District was called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Larry Lyons.

The minutes of the May 4th, 2010 meeting were read and with a motion by Ronald J. Guidry, seconded by Jules LaCour, to approve minutes as read. Motion was unanimously approved.

PUBLIC HEARING
JUNE 2, 2010 6:00PM

Mayor Giles opened the public hearing at 6:00 pm. There were about 3 citizens present. Mayor Giles announced Ordinance No. 533, Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. Town Clerk Cindy Mallett explained the reasons for adopting the ordinance. The Mayor asked if there were any questions or comments concerning this ordinance. No questions or comments were made. Mayor Giles closed the hearing at 6:01 p.m.

The Mayor and Board of Council Members of the Town of Lake Arthur met this day in regular meeting. Notice of the meeting was duly exercised as per requirements of open meeting laws.

Mayor Giles called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Council Member Dorothy Charles offered the invocation. Mayor E. R. Giles led the pledge of Allegiance.
