Need help locating relatives (Fontenot-Larose)

My name is Tracey and i reside in Seattle and l'm trying to locate any information on Fontenot-Larose's of Ville Platte. I am doing my family genealogy. My great -Grandfathers name was Valmon Fontenot which he later changed to Larose. He was murdred by sheriff in 1923. He was also a landowner and Pastor of church in Ville Platte?
